The Challenge
- Gerber Childrenswear wanted to promote the 25th year of the Onesies® brand by Gerber, The Original One Piece Underwear, and to acquire new participants in their Preferred Parent rewards program.
The Solution
- Marden-Kane designed and built a Sweepstakes with an online and offline method of entry.
- Every entrant entering the Sweepstakes was given the opportunity to sign up for the Preferred Parent program.
- New parents found out about the promotion through on-pack promotion of the Sweepstakes on all Onesies® products, prominent placement on gerberchildrenswear.com, customized Tell-A-Friend emails and cross-promotion with retailers.
The Results
- Participation in the Preferred Parents rewards program more than doubled as a result of the promotion.
- Almost 450,000 entries
- 57% of all visitors who found out about the promotion from a Tell-A-Friend email entered the Sweepstakes.
